Sabrina Lentini has been called a “Mysterious” old soul, as this young singer, songwriter, musician captivates her audience with her unique style and leaves you wanting more. Her style has been described as Folk, a splash of Rock and Roll, and a sprinkle of Pop!

Her passion for music started at a very young age, and is greatly influenced by such artists as Melanie Safka, Janis Joplin, Colbie Caillat, KT Tunstall and John Mayer.

At the age of eight, Sabrina was featured as a finalist on CBS Early Show’s “Living Room Live”. That same year, Sabrina started performing The National Anthem for many Major League teams, such as The LA Lakers, NASCAR, LA Angels and many more. She currently sings regularly for The LA Angels.

By the time she was 11, she released her first EP and soon after was endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars and became one of their artist. Soon to follow, the search was on for young musicians and Sabrina formed her own Pop/Rock band, Sabrina and Minor Aftershock. Over the next few years, they played throughout Southern California including the world famous Whisky A GoGo, headlining at The Galaxy Theater and many more.

Sabrina recently wrapped up “Majors and Minors” a reality based TV series on The HUB network. She was one of 12 young artists chosen from a nationwide search of over 40,000. It was an amazing experience where she received coaching and performance tips from insiders including Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Debra Byrd, Alex Larson and David “DQ” Quinones, as well as stars like Jordin Sparks,, Colbie Caillat, Ryan Tedder, Jennifer Hudson and Avril Lavigne.

Today at the age of 13, Sabrina just had her first release on iTunes by Boardwalk/RCA “Case of The LaLa’s”. To date, she has written over a dozen original songs and is constantly writing. She is so excited for what’s next! She cannot wait to record her first full length album!

Look forward for good things ahead for Sabrina!

When did you start your musical career?

My first performance on stage was when I was five years old, and I’ve been singing ever since…anywhere and everywhere I can. I started playing guitar two years ago, and I was so honored to become sponsored by Daisy Rock Guitars soon after!

Who are your musical influences?

Some of my musical influences are Melanie Safka and Janis Joplin. I also love artists like Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Colbie Caillat, and Jack Johnson. I love how they are different from everybody else…they have their own styles and vibes that really connect with me.

How would you describe your music?

People tell me that I’m such an old soul because of my voice and style. I would describe my music as folky with some rock and a little bit of pop!

How are your songs inspired -- life experiences, poetry, other?

My songs are inspired by my experiences, surroundings, feelings, imagination, and boys (of course)! One of my originals is even about my first breakup!

You were recently on the reality TV show “Majors & Minors” where you were one of the top 12 finalists chosen from over 40,000 musicians nationwide. What was it like to be mentored by some of today’s top musicians and who was your favorite?

Majors & Minors has been such an amazing experience for me. I’ve learned and grown so much, and I’m so thankful for it. I can’t believe all the incredible top artists and coaches I got to meet and work with. It’s so crazy hearing a song on the radio or seeing one of the mentors on T.V. and thinking, “Oh, I ACTUALLY met her/him!” If I had to choose my favorite mentor, it would be Colbie Caillat because I love her songs and her lyrics so much. I feel like my style is similar to hers.

You’re a Daisy Rock endorsed artist…which guitar do you play and what do you like most about it?

I love being a Daisy Rock artist! I play a Butterfly Jumbo Acoustic and a Rainbow Sparkle Rock Candy Electric! I love my guitars because they show my girly style through butterflies and sparkles! What girl doesn’t love sparkles?!

So what’s next for Sabrina? Are you working on any new tunes or an album release?

Since Majors & Minors has ended, I have been writing songs non-stop and I now have over a dozen original songs! I’m getting ready to start recording and start working on my first full-length album! So much more is to come! This is only the beginning!
